Does anyone know of a convenient way to automatically save data in VNMR6.1? Occasionally, if an experiment is left to run overnight, I am not able to reach the terminal in time before another user runs an experiment. I would like to be able to tell the software to save the data once acquisition is complete. Thank you for your time! asked May 04 '12 at 05:52 |
I think the variable "wexp" is something that can be used for this; you can specify a command/macro that will be executed once the experiment completes. See the "Command and Parameter Reference" manual for more information and syntax. answered May 04 '12 at 14:35 renee Thank you very much! It worked like a charm. - Chris Barber (May 06 '12 at 19:11) |
I often use "wexp" for this purpose. You can use the "n1" variable to store a text string (the full path name under which you wish to store the fid). Then set wexp='svf(n1)' and begin the experiment with "au". The fid will automatically be saved at the "n1" location. For example, n1='/home/username/mydata/name' would produce a fid at /home/username/mydata/name.fid. If you forget to start with "au", you can always enter "wexp(n1)" as a command on the command line. This will then do the same thing as if you started the experiment with an "au" -George Gray Agilent answered May 07 '12 at 09:38 georgeg |
