Does anyone know how to make Topspin to queue experiments? In my recently installed Topspin somehow the queue function is not actives. When I start another experiment it always says the experiment is running. Of course the spooler does not record any queued experiment.

Thanks.

1. Open TopSpin 2. type set or setres on the command line 3. press return or enter 4 look at the lost that comes up 5 about the 6th entry down will be "enable command spooling" 6. Click the radio button 7. now you will have command spooling on 8. Apply the setres window 9 Close the window - MikeBrown (Jan 12 '14 at 22:14)

Hi, I also had some problems with spooler. I somehow activated it but a lot of errors shown up (some with routine, power levels etc.) now I'm just using macros. (just type in command line

edmac nameofmacro

or queue commands in line using syntax ; for example if you want to obtain 1H spectra after creating new experiment in TopSPin3.2 just type in command line (for chloroform-d1 and EXPO 1:

lock CDCl3; re 1; atma; re 1; topshim; re 1; getprosol; rga; ns 8; zg; ft; apk; abs; sref; .all

it works perfectly for routine fast 1H experments

Hi, make sure the "Enable automatic command spooling" option is active in the User preferences. you will find this window under "manage" "preferences". Clemens

BTW check TopSpin user manual. If I recall correctly there's additional command or parameter that should be used in case of command spooling (another for acusition commands and another for processing commands)
