Hi everyone,I have problem on Bruker AV-500 in runing topshim. when I run topshim it give error that during raw check z gradient not found has any body idea where is the problem. asked Aug 07 '12 at 06:36 feroon |
Bruker gradient connectors at the rear of the gradient amp and the inline filter are often not fully engaged. Check to be sure that the connector shells are screwed in completely by pushing firmly on the connector while turning the shell until it is all the way in. answered Aug 14 '12 at 09:17 |
Hi Feroon, Usually this means that for some reason the z gradient is not working, which could be for a number of reasons. If you run a gradient 2D, does the experiment work? Do you see the lock signal dip due to the gradient pulses? If the gradient doesn't do anything in a 2D, try the command "ii" in topspin and repeat the experiment. If it still doesn't work, then try turning the console off and on again. Pete answered Aug 07 '12 at 12:51 Pete Gierth Thanks for reply Pete In 2D gradient is not working but experiment is still work with a lot of artifact peaks.FID is not good too and lock signal is not going in like a gradient. I have turn off and on console already but the problem is still there. - feroon (Aug 08 '12 at 05:59) If you have another gradient probe, try it. That will isolate the problem to the probe or the spectrometer. You can also measure the resistance of the gradient coil at the connector. It should be on the order of 1 ohm. If open, the probe needs repair. If about 1 ohm, console is likely problem. - Kirk Marat (Aug 13 '12 at 12:18) |
Hi, I am experiencing the same problem. Did you find a solution in the end? I have tried ii, shmrm, restarting the console and so on. Nothing works. How did you solve it? - jen (Nov 07 '13 at 04:29)
