Hello all, I was measuring on a Topspin 300MHz and multizg was running (T1ir and cpmg). I unplugged my usb flash memory from the pc and it rebooted!!! After that, in Topspin no run was possible. With a zg command, it was showing "starting RCU and TCU" and not proceeding anymore. I tried restarting the pc several times. But no success. What do you think? The multizg that was running at the beginning was supposed to take around 9 hours. Is that possible that the machine still has this command and is not accepting any other command until it finishes? Tomorrow morning I will check again and will update the result here. But if you have any idea, please drop a comment. Thanks, Amin asked Mar 13 '12 at 08:40 Amin os |
Try to run 'cf' command. It should reinitialized all components of the system. answered Mar 13 '12 at 10:03 |
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately I didn't have the admin password to run cf. I update here. As I expected (hoped) before, the TCU (time controling unit) was busy. I think when the PC was rebooted suddenly, the packet which was sent to the machine was till there and was not cancelled by any command. So it was thinking the it is measuring and couldn't reset TCU to start another measurement. Also that time I noticed that the LED for ADCONV was constantly on. Today in the morning I checked it and everything was normal again. answered Mar 14 '12 at 02:30 Amin os |
