Dear everyone,

I was wondering how can I know the number of unambiguous noe assignments both after manual assignment and automatic assignment by CYANA. I am a dummy in this, so please help me about this.

Thanks Yar

have a look at the cyanatable script, distributed with cyana it gives a table of noe stats.

other options: have a look at the peak file *-final.peaks files and see if you can extract 'assignedness' from that. same for manually assigned peaks.

for the assigned peaks there will be atom number towards the end of each peak line, unassigned peaks will have zeros

a simple awk script should be enough to extract all the numbers you want.
